If you are going to spend serious time in Brazil, either working, travelling
or forming relationships, then you need to speak Portuguese. Levels of
English vary across the country but generally they are not great, in spite
of the fact that there is an English school on every corner.
It's not a hard language to learn (if you already speak Spanish, Italian or
French, it will be even easier) although the pronunciation takes some
getting used to. You will open the hearts of the Brazilians once you start
communicating in Portuguese and find opportunities that you never knew
existed. While people will still know you are a "gringo", you will start
paying lower prices, enjoying the "novelas", and taking advantage of
Brazil's booming economy. The other great thing about Portuguese is that
Brazilians speak the same language all over the country, there are no
dialects, just different accents which are not hard to get used to.

All classes are taught by qualified, native speaker Portuguese trainers* and can be arranged at your office or home** for any day of the week (including weekends) in the morning, afternoon or evening.
*Where a native speaker is not available, your Portuguese trainer will be a qualified trainer fluent in and experienced in teaching Portuguese - of course, it is your right to refuse a non-native trainer if you so wish.
**If there is a reason why your office or home is not suitable, it may be possible to arrange tuition at the trainer's office.
